Thoughts on the film Twister

Postby Randy » Tue Aug 28, 2007 3:25 pm

I was just wondering what everyone thinks about the factually accurate portryal of tornadoes in the film 'Twister'?

Do you think that special effects and poor acting should be more important than showing the hazard as it occurs in the real world?

Is it acceptable to include stuff like flying cows and a belt protecting people from F5s for the purpose of entertainment?

You have to remember that the purpose of films is to sell tickets and copies of the film to the public. They have to provide entertainment in order to gain an audience to make money. Leather belts saving lives does this
