41 people have already been killed this year which is only slightly less than the total people killed in last years tornado season.
St Louis was hit on Good Friday by the strongest tornado of the season so far. An EF4 Tornado with wind in excess of 200 mph hit the St Louis airport and surrounding area injuring some but thankfully there were no fatalities.
At the time of writing, there is a high risk for severe storms capable of producing Tornadoes so it seems April 2011 is continuing to be a very major and memorable month for severe weather.
